Brookyln’s Woods had both sides of the freak-folk divide covered at the Hi-Dive on Tuesday. Photo of European tour from the band’s MySpace profile. I shouldn’t have been impressed. The musical technicalities behind Brooklyn band Woods’ performance at the Hi-Dive Tuesday night were just a little off all around. Jeremy Earl’s falsetto coo was a hair out of tune the entire show.
