One would think Fort Collins band, Fierce Bad Rabbit, with its light, pop-folk sound would be the next local act to cash in on the genre radios and listeners want to hear. But, FBR showed at its CD release party on Friday night at the Oriental Theater that it’s just not ready for the same success of its peers.

The triple bill of Shovels and Rope, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Lumineers at the Ogden Theatre on Sunday evening promised a later than usual start for the headliners, but not one moment was wasted on the victory lap.

By Paige Montgomery | December 24th, 2012 | 3 commentsFriday’s concert at the Ogden Theatre brought back the Flobots (who performed at the first Denver Acoustic Christmas in December of 2011), newcomer Zach Heckendorf and Big Head Todd and The Monsters; who unbeknownst to fans performed with a very ill Todd Park Mohr. Mohr, who according to band members had been feeling sick all day, was rushed out of the venue immediately following their set to receive medical attention.
