Last night at The Hi-Dive in Denver, Night Beds tucked in fans in with a set that braided the sweetness of a lullaby with rocking guitar-drums groove and the melancholy twang of country lap-steel.

Winston Yellen has never played a show in Colorado, never seen a band at the Hi-Dive, where he headlines with his band Night Beds on Wednesday, fresh off of a performance on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” But he still considers himself a Colorado musician.
