Snoop Dogg becomes Snoop Lion, gets banned from Norway, etc.

Snoop Dogg is having a busy week -- and it's only Tuesday. What with receiving a two-year ban from entering the country of Norway, holding a presser at a Caribbean restaurant to promote his forthcoming documentary, "Reincarnated," and, in his spare time, (kind of) changing his onstage surname from "Dogg" to "Lion," the 40-year-old Calvin Broadus seems more omnipresent than ever (think about that one).

Comedian Doug Benson played a hilarious show at the Boulder Theater Tuesday night. Stoner humor is ubiquitous in American culture, but Benson crafts his own brand that pays loving homage to stereotypes and puns and adds unique life experience to take it to a much higher more dignified level.

Live review: Cypress Hill @ the Ogden Theatre

4/20 for Cypress Hill is like Christmas in April. Most middle-of-the-road bands lose their stride when they have been playing for over 20 years, but Cypress Hill seems to be just settling into their groove as they brought their west coast hip-hop to the Ogden Theatre Tuesday night -- while a green cloud of smoke hung over the sold out crowd.
