Sunday night, the Grammys 2013 included performances by Rihanna, fun., the Black Keys, Frank Ocean and more. fun., Mumford & Sons and Gotye took home some of the biggest awards of the night, while Denver’s the Lumineers didn’t win either of the two categories they were nominated in. Nominations for the 55th Grammy Awards were announced Wednesday night, and it’s almost as if the Academy has actually been listening to music this year. Denver-based folk group, the Lumineers, scored two huge nominations for Best Americana Album and Best New Artist.
Here’s a look at the nominations for the big five categories with, of course, some predictions:
