Counting Crows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, 8/2/12 (photos and review)

A full moon and a steady breeze welcomed Counting Crows to the Red Rocks stage Thursday night. The group played a polished, two hour set of covers, hits and new tracks off its April release "Underwater Sunshine (Or What We Did On Our Summer Vacation)." It is August, after all, and fans showed up geared to hear songs off the nearly 20 year old album ("August and Everything After") that cemented their love for barrel-chested frontman Adam Duritz and his never-disappointing hair.
