British singer-songwriter William Topley played an extended set at the Fox Theatre Wednesday night. He was accompanied by Boulder-area musicians Christian Teele and Taylor Mesple on drums and keyboards (and a bit of accordion thrown in for good measure).

Gregory Alan Isakov to close out Chautauqua Auditorium summer concert series on Friday

Gregory Alan Isakov certainly feels a strong connection to Chautauqua Auditorium in Boulder, which he will headline for the first time on Sept. 21. Isakov and his band have played the venue on several occasions as an opening act, sharing the stage with such renowned artists as Cowboy Junkies, Indigo Girls and Brandi Carlile -- the latter of whom Isakov has frequently sat in with, most recently opening for her at Red Rocks.

The Boulder Theater undulated with sound and gyrating bodies on Thursday evening as Railroad Earth took the stage, playing to a packed house. Throngs swarmed the Boulder Theater for this show, originally promised as part of a package deal along with the band's Red Rocks date with Umphrey's McGee on Friday.
