Lil Wayne and Drake are the rap game’s equivalent to President Barack Obama and VP Joe Biden. There’s the obvious competition, respect for each other’s talent and dubious public joshing -- not to mention the fact that while they’re on the same team, audiences love each equally but for totally different reasons.

From the looks of things, Drake is living a pretty excellent life. He’s arguably one of the hottest rappers in the game, signed to one of the most successful labels (Young Money Records) and he gets to do cool stuff like shop for snacks with Nicki Minaj.

As Labor Day weekend came to a close on Monday night, OneRepublic was hard at work. During the band's third Red Rocks Amphitheatre show this summer, the local boys weren't only performing for 9,000 fans, but filming the new music video for "I Lived." The night also marked OneRepublic bringing its last few months full circle.

Early on Thursday, Portland indie-pop band STRFKR set the precedent for a night of great cover songs at Red Rocks Amphitheatre with a take on Cyndi Lauper's classic, "Girls Just Want to Have Fun." The smallish and tame crowd would be treated to takes on "Teenage Wasteland," "Another Brick in the Wall" and "Day Man" from "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" from Grouplove and Portugal.
