Lettuce and the Motet at Red Rocks Amphitheatre (photos, review)

"I want to thank ya’ll. It rained… and ya’ll stayed!” Lettuce's Nigel Hall told a sold-out, waterlogged crowd on Friday at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. A torrential downpour wasn’t enough to keep the hometown jam favorites in the Motet and funk super-group Lettuce from throwing one of the most memorable parties of the 2015 Red Rocks season.

1. Austin Psych Fest: Levitation must have had a powerful contingent of wizards casting spells of protection over the festival. Friday afternoon saw a brief heavy rain, and the opening bands on each stage got cancelled due to lightning, but once the festival got rolling, despite being under constant threat of iPhone predicted thunderstorms, it never rained.

Moe at the Ogden Theatre in Denver (photos)

Moe closed out its three-night Colorado run on Saturday with a sold out show at the Ogden Theatre. The Colorado run is part of the band's 25th anniversary tour, which included an intimate stop at the Fox Theatre in Boulder on Thursday and two nights at the Ogden.
