Listen: Esme Patterson debuts catchy new song “Feel Right”

Things are looking rosy for former Denver indie-folk darling Esme Patterson's new album. The singer-songwriter, who co-founded Colorado's Paper Bird and now lives in Portland, Ore., garnered international acclaim for her 2014 album "Woman to Woman," which reimagined famous pop songs about women from the subject's perspective.

High Fiction’s “The Young Men,” feat. The National’s Matt Berninger

Gary Grundei and Amy Shelley, known collectively as High Fiction, have played with tons of random musicians and non-musicians. They host a "variety-style event" at the Arvada Tavern where, as the house band, they play behind magicians, burlesque dancers, slam poets, audience members singing live karaoke, guest musicians, and "other wackiness." The show works because the two professional musicians have experience playing a variety and roles, from accompanist to teacher.

Listen: Colorado’s Sound of Ceres shares “Hand Of Winter”

Sound of Ceres is the new project by Fort Collins' Candy Claws and Apples in Stereo frontman Robert Schneider. Ahead of the group's debut album, "Nostalgia for Infinity" (out on March 4 via Joyful Noise Recordings), the band has released the new single "Hand Of Winter."
