Denver’s Ruby Hill Park will get a new amphitheater that could host as many as 50 free concerts and other events each year.



Whitney Houston preserved for generations at Madame Tussads

A Whitney Houston wax replica has made it's way into Madame Tussad's in Las Vegas.

On Monday, Madame Tussauds Las Vegas unveiled its permanently fixed likeness of Whitney Houston, preserving the late pop singer’s countenance, and younger, killer body, for generations to come. The timing was a little eerie, exactly one year after her death.

DeVotchKa and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra may have seemed like an unlikely musical match just a year ago, but their indie-meets-institution collaboration produced two solid concerts in 2012, one at Boettcher Concert Hall last February and another at Red Rocks in September. Next up: The album “DeVotchKa Live with the Colorado Symphony” due Tuesday.
