Though a Further show in Broomfield and fresh snow in the mountains kept the show from selling out like the last time Karl was in town, the theater was nonetheless alive with energy from start to finish.

The peculiar livetronica brainchild of the String Cheese Incident’s percussion section, Michael Travis and Jason Hann pushed the limits of the venue’s sound system while bombarding an amped crowd with lasers, balloons, and their signature 3D mapping Lotus flower stage production.

Ending well past 1 a.m. at the Fox Theatre, Papadosio’s extensive performance Thursday night shows no signs of fatigue from a massive five-month, 50-venue tour. The livetronica act embarked on this tour support of their new double album, “T.E.T.I.O.S (To End the Illusion of Separation)” — an album two-and-a-half years in the making.
