In case you’ve been encased in a chunk of carbonite, a certain beloved movie franchise is getting a long-overdue sequel on Friday.
That’s right: After years of patient waiting, fans will finally get a chance to see the next Alvin and the Chipmunks film this week. It’s called “Road Chip.” Let’s all take a second and imagine the sort of wacky hi-jinks our three favorite animated rodents will get into when they’re set loose on our nation’s highways.
Oh, and this new Star Wars movie is coming out.
People seem pretty excited about it. For example: Last night, Jimmy Fallon aired a video of the cast of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” singing the films’ most iconic songs with The Roots in a Brady Bunch-style montage. It’s really delightful, but if you’re on DEFCON level five spoiler alert, it does contain shots of the actors in the film. You’ve been warned.
