Dave Matthews Band announces two Colorado dates at Fiddler’s Green

Can you believe it’s been more than a year since Dave Matthews Band played in Colorado? The act and its prolific frontman are familiar faces in the state. So familiar, in fact, that when Matthews was playing a benefit concert for flood victims, Gov. John Hickenlooper even offered to name a mountain after the musician.

“I just met Dave Matthews back stage and I told him I wanted to name a mountain after him. He said no,” Hickenlooper told the crowd at that 1stBank Center concert.

Well, Matthews can’t stay away that long. Dave Matthews Band has announced its 2015 tour, which includes two Colorado dates at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre. The band plays Fiddler’s on Aug. 28-29, and tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Feb. 13. We’ll update this post with ticket prices when it’s available.

The last time the full band played here was a couple months before the flood benefit in 2013. Dave Matthews Band played two nights at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.

Why aren’t they playing red rocks??????

    • Ghostman91

Because Red Rocks now has a 5 year agreement with Axs, started Jan 1., barring any pre-existing contracts, no one else is playing there…gonna keep a lotta good shows off the Rocks, :(. I’m afraid.
