Michael Cera has finally stopped being an Ann hog and released an album, which appeared on Bandcamp on Aug. 8.
Called “true that,” the album from the “Arrested Development” and “Superbad” actor, consists of 18 original tracks. You can stream it below, and should, because it’s not bad.
“true that” is mostly instrumental with some experimental folk influences and also includes a cover of Blaze Foley’s “Clay Pigeons.”
The best part — aside from the crappy album cover of Cera cringing in fear from a small child — is his artist bio.
“Michael Cera was born in Canada in 1988 at the tender age of zero,” it reads.
Jonah Hill broke the news on Twitter Tuesday night: “My great friend Michael Cera not only is a brilliant actor, he also makes great music.”
