Drake took a break from music making on Wednesday to enjoy his second love, sports. The rapper hosted ESPS’s ESPY awards (like the sports version of the Emmys, for you non sports fans).
No stranger being on the big or little screen, Drake has flexed his acting chops before on Jimmy Kimmel and SNL. On Wednesday he appeared in a skit as Filipino boxer, Manny Pacquiao, and sang every word to “Let it Go” from “Frozen.” Making light of all the Macklemore drama at the Grammy’s, Drake saved his revenge from Grammy night with a performance of “Honorable Mention (The ESPYs Song for Losers).”
Earlier this week, fans were treated to new information regarding the status of Champagne Papi’s forthcoming album titled, “Views From the 6th.” Look for the unofficial Toronto’s ambassador to the night life to hit the stage at Red Rocks with Lil Wayne September 10.
