The new Drake album has a name alreadyBy Matt Miller | July 15th, 2014 | No Comments »
Do whatever you’d like with this information: The new Drake album is called “Views From the 6.”
Less than a year after the release of “Nothing Was the Same,” Drake is already preparing to follow up his No. 1 album. He broke the news about the title of his upcoming fourth album via Billboard, who suggests that “The 6″ is a reference to his hometown, which would make sense, because Drake is the Toronto poster boy.
Anyway, you’ll have plenty of time to speculate the deep mysteries behind the mind of Drake, because he hasn’t started recording it yet…
Maybe the months leading up to the new Drake album will be like an episode of “Lost.” Could “The 6″ be a reference to the New York City Subway train that Jennifer Lopez referenced in her album, “On The 6,” which was 64 minutes and 13 seconds long. All of those numerals also appear in the Lost code 4-8-15-16-23-42 in no particular order.
Sorry, now you probably wont sleep until Drake’s fourth album comes out. Why don’t you try asking him when he plays Red Rocks on Sept. 10?
