Paul McCartney hospitalized with a viral infection, sources say

Shortly after canceling the Asian leg of his Out There Tour, Paul McCartney has been hospitalized in Tokyo, according to USA Today. While there is no confirmation, other reports say that fans have gathered outside of the hospital where the 71-year-old former Beatle is said to be resting.

McCartney is scheduled to return to the U.S. in mid-June for about three months of sold out dates.
