Updated: Film on the Rocks 2014 schedule: Ark Life, Covenhoven, Inner Oceans and more

UPDATE — May 27, 9:48 a.m.: “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” has been added to the Film on the Rocks lineup with Chimney Choir and Jesse Manley on Aug. 25.

The first rule of Film on the Rocks is you don’t talk about Film on the Rocks. Well, go ahead and talk about it. But make sure you mention that the band names, Flashbulb Fires and Face Man, provide a morbid and accurate description of the ending to “Fight Club.” This is one example of a great pairing of local bands and movies on the Film on the Rocks 2014 schedule. Another good one: The synth-tinged stylings of Total Ghost and Grizfolk with the sci-fi glam of “Labyrinth.”

These types of matches fill the Film on the Rocks 2014 schedule, which organizers revealed on Facebook today.
