After teasing a number of acts on Tuesday afternoon, organizers have revealed the Riot Fest Denver 2014 lineup, which includes The Cure, the National, Rise Against, Weezer, Social Distortion, Wu-Tang Clan, the Flaming Lips and more.

For its second Denver bout, Riot Fest has added a third day and will return to May Farms in Byers east of the city on Sept. 19-21.

The festival, which is put on with help from Denver indie promoter Soda Jerk Presents, also brings Primus, Slayer, TV On the Radio, Descendents, Die Antwoord, Gogol Bordello, Violent Femmes, Lucero, Dum Dum Girls, Big Freedia, In the Valley Below and local acts 3OH!3 and My Body Sings Electric.

Riot Fest organizers say they have re-tooled a number of hiccups that caused concern in 2013. These changes include doubling the amount of camping spaces, a new layout aimed at decreasing traffic, free parking, more shade tents and a fourth stage.

Though this is the second time the festival has taken place in Denver, 2014 marks the 10-year anniversary of Riot Fest.

Along with one of three reunion shows from the Replacements, Riot Fest 2013 brought Iggy and the Stooges, AFI, Public Enemy, Guided by Voices, Matt & Kim, Yo La Tengo, Against Me! and more.

The Toronto stop of Riot Fest 2014 takes place on Sept. 6-7 and hits Chicago on Sept. 12-14.

When is a daily lineup/schedule posted for these kind of events? I’d be traveling from Texas and would like to know when some of my bands would be playing to plan accordingly.
