Watch: The Hold Steady on Letterman — performing “Spinners”By Julio Enriquez | March 25th, 2014 | No Comments »
The Hold Steady took on “The Late Show with David Letterman” on Monday to perform their new single, “Spinners.” The punchy single re-paints the literary bar-rock band as an artistic powerhouse.
Bespectacled lead singer, Craig Finn, appeared as animated as ever with his chatty vocal styling and extended ’80s-inspired guitar riffs. The Hold Steady are celebrating the release of their new album today, “Teeth Dreams,” available by their new record label, Washington Square. Look for the guys to hit the road at the end of this month before embarking on a tour of the UK.
“Teeth Dreams,” the Hold Steady’s first album in four years, is a follow up to “Heaven is Whenever,” which was the band’s highest charting album in the U.S.
