The Black Keys announce new album, “Turn Blue”By Matt Miller | March 21st, 2014 | 1 Comment »
The Black Keys will release their eighth studio album, “Turn Blue,” this year, according to an entirely creepy announcement video. “Turn Blue,” the band’s first release since 2011’s “El Camino,” is due out on May 13.
The video doesn’t contain any music (at least we hope the uncomfortable ambient noises in the video aren’t music…), but does have some dude with a terrible haircut trying to hypnotize you.
Adding to the weirdness of the announcement, the video was shared via Mike Tyson’s Twitter, which thebruceblog.com pointed out.

The band will release “Fever,” the first material from the upcoming album, on Monday. During the three year break, the Black Keys drummer, Patrick Carney, has produced a number of projects, including “Young and Old,” the 2012 album by Denver’s Tennis.
