Lollapalooza 2014: Eminem, Skrillex, Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys to headlineBy Matt Miller | March 18th, 2014 | No Comments »
Eminem, Skrillex, Arctic Monkeys and Kings of Leon will headline Lollapalooza 2014, the Chicago Tribune has learned. While the full lineup won’t be announced until next week, the Chicago Tribune has confirmed the acts through industry sources.
Eminem and Kings of Leon have both headlined the festival in 2011 and 2009, respectively. Arctic Monkeys and Skrillex have both played the festival, but never headlined. This marks Arctic Monkey’s first time anchoring a major U.S. festival. In 2013 headliners included Nine Inch Nails, the Postal Service, the Cure, Phoenix and Mumford & Sons.

While this group of Lollapalooza 2014 headliners isn’t particularly impressive, hopefully the full list of acts will be a bit more interesting.
Other acts at Lollapalooza 2013 included, Queens of the Stone Age, Kendrick Lamar, Vampire Weekend, New Order, the National, Grizzly Bear, the Lumineers, Beach House, Alt-J, Crystal Castles, Band of Horses, Ellie Goulding, Lana Del Rey, Cat Power and more.
Lollapalooza 2014 takes place Aug. 1-3 in Chicago’s Grant Park.
