Lady Gaga brought “Artpop” as her musical contribution to the first week of the “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday. Gaga appeared in all white (including her origami inspired piano), with long floor length extensions that took a page out of Cher’s ’60s motivated hairstyles.
The “Tonight Show” appearance marked Gaga’s return to the public after a few months working on more “Artpop” material and keeping out of the spotlight.
The ringleader of the “little monsters” showed fans that she’s more than a couple of kooky outfits and creative hair weaves with her piano introduction to what’s presumably her next single and title track, “Artpop.”
The slow simmer reached a fever pitch with Gaga chanting, “we could belong together,” as she sashayed down from her piano monument on the elaborate stage before the crowd.
Look for Lady Gaga to play a string of seven dates at the quaint Roseland Ballroom in New York City at the end of March for those fans that are inclined to get an intimate feel versus her usual arena shows.
Several tracks that didn’t make the cut for “Artpop” have been slowly percolating on the Interwebz, and most recently, an ode to the Brooklyn borough titled, “Brooklyn Nights,” has surfaced — albeit a 30 second clip that you can listen to below.
