A little more than a year after making his national TV stand-up debut on “Conan,” Denver’s Adam Cayton-Holland has announced another late-night appearance.
On Wednesday, Feb. 26, Cayton-Holland, a member of Denver’s Grawlix comedy troupe, will stop by “The Pete Holmes Show” on TBS for a stand-up set and short chat afterwards, Cayton-Holland told Reverb this morning.
Here’s what Reverb said about his “Conan” stand up last January:
As comedians say, he killed. Confident and measured, but still employing all the gestures and inflection that make his comedy so inviting, Cayton-Holland owned the screen — which is different than owning the stage, as any TV veteran will tell you. And if audience response was any indication, he might be getting another five minutes on that stage in the future.
Among other projects, Cayton-Holland has in the last year helped produce Denver’s first High Plains Comedy Festival and is working on a half-dozen new scripts for his Grawlix project with Amazon Studios, “Those Who Can’t.”
