Phantogram announces return to Denver with Ogden Theatre showBy Matt Miller | February 10th, 2014 | No Comments »
With a new full-length set to be released this month, Phantogram has announced it will return to Denver to play its biggest Colorado headlining date.
After playing a sold out Gothic Theatre in October, Phantogram will headline the larger Ogden Theatre on April 15.
At the Gothic show, the New York synth pop duo brought an impressive performance thanks to a full backing band and moody light show.
Tickets go on sale Feb. 15 at 10 a.m. and cost $23.75. Phantogram’s second studio album, “Voices,” is out on Feb. 18.
In October, Reverb spoke to Phantogram’s Sarah Barthel about the label bidding war that took place before the band settled on Republic Records.
“They were interested in us awhile back and we had this crazy bidding war happen about a year and half ago with every major label, and we decided to pick Republic,” Barthel said. “They’ve been super rad. They completely understood what we wanted and we had complete creative control over everything, which was really important to us.”
