3) Winter on the Rocks — Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Jan. 31, $52-$100
Now in its third year, Winter on the Rocks is quickly becoming a Colorado music tradition, thanks in part to smart booking and its unique atmosphere. Try to think of a more Colorado scenario: a concert at the iconic mountain amphitheater of Red Rocks in January, snow or shine. It’s as Colorado as weed, microbrews and skiing. Normally leaning toward younger, more adventurous audiences, the lineup this year on Jan. 31 includes the recently reunited hip-hop group Jurassic 5 and Ghostland Observatory. Last year’s lineup included Mackle-more & Ryan Lewis, who cleaned up at the Grammys on Sunday. ($52.80-$100, redrocksonline.com)
