Why is Taylor Swift album on No. 7? It is the most anticipated album of the year!

Uh… no. Sorry. Adele is what the music scene wants more. Bowie, then Adele. I like Taylor, but my heart is with Adele and Bowie.

Big fan of Adele, Swift, Bowie, and U2. But c’mon now. The peak creative period of any musician’s life is about 5-20 years depending on their willingness to adapt to the times. Even Sinatra and Fitzgerald, the two greatest interpreters of the American songbook, didn’t release a significant album after the 1960′s. Adele is the most anticipated by far since her last album basically sold more than any other artist’s last three albums combined. After that is Taylor Swift. U2 probably somewhere in the 5-7 range and Bowie maybe in the top 10.
