3) The Wood Brothers at the Fox Theatre — Dec. 6, sold out
Raised in Boulder, you can hear the city’s influence has stuck with the Wood Brothers as the band has moved across the country. The trio boasts a rustic sound that is as much expansive and traveled-American folk as it is Colorado native. Bluegrass dripping with vocal harmonies and twang, the band builds charming and simple acoustic numbers on its newest album “The Muse.” Though the band is based in New York and Nashville, Colorado is still drawn to the band, selling out their show at the Fox Theatre on Friday.
