Eminem on "Saturday Night Live": Rapper announces his sixth appearance - Reverb

Eminem will perform on “Saturday Night Live” with host Kerry Washington

On Monday, Eminem shut down the Internet with his dizzying rhymes on “Rap God,” the latest single released in support of “The Marshall Mathers LP 2.” Now, the Detroit MC has announced that he will make his return to “Saturday Night Live” for a performance of the single.

Eminem will perform on SNL for the first time since 2010, and the episode will be hosted by “Scandal” star Kerry Washington. The show is scheduled to air on Nov. 2, just a few days ahead of the release of MMLP2. The album boasts features from Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar and Nate Reuss of FUN.

“Rap God,” finds Eminem rhyming harder, perhaps, than we’ve ever heard him. He lambasts the industry all while challenging his fellow rappers. It’s unclear if Eminem will take part in the comedic sketches, but this is the MC’s sixth appearance on the show.
