Tickets on sale: Decadence, Jimmy Fallon and more

Here are the tickets going on sale this weekend — Decadence, Jimmy Fallon, Lord Huron and more.

Decadence w/ Pretty Lights, Bassnectar and more — On sale Oct. 4, $55-$200

Partying on New Year’s Eve is all about decadence, so dubbing your end-of-the-year bash Decadence might seem beside the point. Not at the Colorado Convention Center, where the so-named dance party takes over 600,000 square feet with music from Pretty Lights and Bassnectar (Dec. 30), and Above & Beyond and Dada Life (Dec. 31). Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 4. ($55-$200, axs.com)

George Strait — On sale Oct. 4, TBA

If you’re a George Strait fan, don’t miss “The Cowboy Rides Away” tour, the country music traditionalist’s ongoing farewell jaunt scheduled to visit the Pepsi Center on April 5. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 4. (Prices TBA, TicketHorse)

Jimmy Fallon — On sale Oct. 4, $40-$75

Jimmy Fallon is assuming Jay Leno’s hosting spot on “The Tonight Show” next year, but before that the NBC “Late Night” host will mount his “Clean Cut Comedy” stand-up tour, which is slated to visit a half dozen cities and finish at Denver’s Buell Theatre on Dec. 6. Tickets for the show, which also features Julian McCullough, Nick Thune and Nate Bargatze, are on sale at 9 a.m. Oct. 4. ($42.50, livenation.com)

Wanda Sykes — On sale now, $40-$75

Wanda Sykes, another comedy luminary who shined on sitcoms such as “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “The New Adventures of Old Christine,” is playing the Boulder Theater on Jan. 15. Tickets are on sale. ($40-$75, bouldertheater.com)

Kenny Loggins — On sale Oct. 4, $30-$45

Kenny Loggins is the biggest name in his new group Blue Sky Riders, but he shares most duties with singer-songwriters Gary Burr and Georgia Middleman, making it a trio in the truest sense of the word. The group will headline the Boulder Theater on Jan. 19. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 4. ($30-$45, bouldertheater.com)

Lord Huron — On sale Oct. 5, $20-$20.75

Lord Huron’s pastoral folk-rock was the perfect sunset soundtrack on the final day of this summer’s UMS on South Broadway. But for the band’s longest-yet headlining tour, it plans to stop by the Ogden Theatre on Feb. 21 and Aspen’s Belly Up on Feb. 22. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 5. ($20-$20.75, axs.com or bellyupaspen.com)

Deer Tick — On sale Oct. 5, $22-$25

Deer Tick isn’t a spooky-music band, but the twangy indie-roots group is most certainly a raw and raucous live act, which should fit the Halloween crowds just fine. The band added an Oct. 31 show to its Oct. 30 Bluebird Theater stop, and new tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 5. ($22-$25, axs.com)
