5) Big Gigantic — Sept. 27-28, Red Rocks Amphitheatre & Fillmore Auditorium, $47
It’s no surprise to see Boulder natives Big Gigantic pitching in with its neighbors to help those harmed by Colorado’s devastating floods. But few people likely expected the livetronica act to dedicate both of its big shows this week — the Fillmore Auditorium on Sept. 27 and Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Sept. 28 — to flood-relief efforts. Now billed as a Big Gigantic Flood Relief Benefit, proceeds from both shows will go to Conscious Alliance’s flood-relief fund. Conscious Alliance will also be on site at both shows collecting money and new or lightly used clothing, cleaning and household items. Tickets for the Red Rocks show are sold out, but tickets for the Fillmore show are still available. ($47, livenation.com)
