Phoenix’s Red Rocks show moved to 1stBank CenterBy Matt Miller | August 7th, 2013 | 3 comments
If you’re planning on seeing Phoenix and Dinosaur Jr. amid the grandeur of Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Wednesday, you’re out of luck. The show has been moved to the 1stBank Center, an indoor arena in Broomfield that’s less than two-thirds the size of Red Rocks.
AEG says severe weather forecasts have prompted the change to the smaller, waterproof location. At this new venue it’s obvious that ticket sales have not been enough to get near selling out Red Rocks.
Anyone with general admission tickets has access to the general admission floor area of the 1stBank Center along with GA bowl seating. Reserved ticket holders have access on a first-come-first-serve basis to reserved bowl sections and standing room only floor.
Refunds are available until 8 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
