The UMS unveils new app: Create schedules, follow news and moreBy Matt Miller | July 12th, 2013 | No Comments »
The days of cradling a crumpled, ratty paper schedule around with you as if it were your own child are over — at least at UMS. The annual music showcase has unveiled a new app, where fans can create custom schedules, check out news and follow the social conversation.
This brings the UMS on par app-wise with festivals such as SXSW, Coachella, Bonnaroo and others.
On top of custom schedules, social and news, fans can also find a map of the 20-plus venues, get to know bands through bios, photos and songs, buy passes and check out parking and transportation.
The app is available now on Android devices and will be ready for download soon for iPhones. Head to theums.com/app to download the app and start making your schedule now.
Be sure to follow @RVRB on Twitter and on Instagram at @heyreverb during the festival through the hashtag #UMS2013. Also, check back with us early next week as we announce some exciting news for our coverage of UMS this year.
