Drake is a lot of things: Degrassi actor, rapper, Lil’ Wayne protege, but he is still not allowed in the Heat locker room. Thursday night, Drake was denied entry to the Miami Heat locker room after the team had won game seven of the NBA Finals. As Drake jostled for position for a chance to congratulate the Heat after the team’s win against the San Antonio Spurs, he was told access was for “media only.” Then, Drake — with a straight face you’d have to see to believe — responded with, “I am media.”
The Toronto heart-throb did, in fact get face time with LeBron James and Dwayne Wade at the after party where he performed the hit single, “Started From the Bottom,” on stage with the champions. You can watch Drake get shut down at the locker room and hanging at the after party below.
