Watch: The Postal Service on “The Colbert Report”By Julio Enriquez | June 20th, 2013 | No Comments »
Those of you of that were fortunate enough to make it to the sold out and almost canceled Postal Service show last month were treated with an incandescent set, both musically and visually. The weirdest part, though, was Ben Gibbard and Jenny
Gibbard Lewis doing their electronic version of She and Him.
Wednesday marked the television debut of Postal Service, and what better place than “The Colbert Report?” The trio proved to be a great interview with Colbert’s witty interjections and usage of an old Toys R Us commercial displaying a spritely Jenny Lewis in what we’re assuming her pre-“Troop Beverly Hills” days. Watch the band perform and be interviewed on Colbert, then check out the official video for “A Tattered Line of String” that was released earlier this week. The video will make you thankful for having a washer and dryer at home.
