By all accounts, the fuel tank on Sir Paul McCartney’s gauge should be flashing “fuel soon.” The legendary musician brought the grace and wisdom of an elder statesman with the energy of a 20-year-old to the snark-tastic confines of the “The Colbert Report” on Wednesday. McCartney spent his time on the show doing a full interview and a short(er) set with a handpicked setlist of gems spanning from the Beatles to Wings.
The evening with Colbert was a warm-up for the former-Beatle’s big gig Friday night at Bonnaroo. Speaking of Bonnaroo, check out the five acts you shouldn’t miss according to Reverb over here. Head over here to watch last night’s “Colbert Report” in its’ entirety.
