Riot Fest Denver lineup: Blink-182, the Replacements, Public Enemy and more

The first ever Riot Fest Denver lineup has been announced, and it contains a mix of acts at the sister festivals in Toronto and Chicago. The Denver lineup includes Blink-182, the Replacements, Public Enemy, Iggy and the Stooges and more. With a diverse spread of genres, the Denver lineup also includes a few other established acts with indie-pop group Yo La Tengo and alt-rock band Guided by Voices. There’s enough great nostalgia there to make your ’90s heart flutter.

Riot Fest Denver takes place from Sept. 21-22 at May Farms in Byers, about 45 minutes east of Denver. Tickets are $69.98-$99.98 for two-day passes and $189.98 for VIP passes.

What, not enough Casio-dancin’ 12 year old’s on bathtub ecstasy for ya? Not enough 47 year old’s on bathtub acid dancing horribly to crappy Dave Mathews jug band bull$shit? If you don’t want to go, don’t go. There are some $hitty bands, just like every other festival, but this line-up is impressive even compared to others around country (and world). Iggy & The Stooges, along with The Replacements AND a partial Black Flag reunion? Rick C, you are an idiot. Go to see Jimmy Buffet or something instead.
