4) Big Head Todd & the Monsters — Saturday, Red Rocks, $56.40-$78.05
Anyone who spent time in Colorado during the ’90s can hum a few Big Head Todd & the Monsters songs. For many young, local musicians, BHTM represented the pinnacle of local music success. And for Colorado music fans, or even casual local radio listeners, Big Head Todd was a household name. That’s why the 20th anniversary of platinum-selling “Sister Sweetly” is such an important occasion in a state where the band is so well-respected and loved. On Saturday, Big Head Todd & the Monsters will return to Red Rocks Amphiteatre with Trombone Shorty to celebrate its starring role in local music history.
