Union Jack rockers the Arctic Monkeys have been out and about on tour fairly consistently since their last LP “Suck It And See” was released in 2011. But we haven’t heard any new material from them since “R U Mine,” a single released on last year’s Record Store Day.
That changed last night. During their show at the Ventura Theatre in California, the band broke out another question-centric song called “Do I Wanna Know.” That may have been the first time fans have ever heard the song, but as you can see by the video, it went over like it was already etched in the collective unconscious. Check out the video below.
The Arctic Monkeys will play Denver’s Ogden Theatre on May 28, but if you didn’t already know that you might be out of luck: tickets have been sold out—as the Brits would say—for ages.
Upcoming Arctic Monkeys tour dates:
24th May Sasquatch Festival, George, WA
25th May Wilma Theatre, Missoula, MT
26th May Knitting Factory, Boise, ID
28th May Ogden Theater, Denver, CO
29th May Sunshine Theater, Albuquerque, NM
31st May House of Blues, Dallas, TX
