Wee Waa, Australia has been going nuts with anticipation since Daft Punk announced they would be showcasing their new album “Random Access Memories” at the little town’s livestock-friendly festival. Today is the big day for the town of 2,100 where along with events like pickup truck gathering and equine competitions the French duo premiered its long-awaited album.
Unfortunately, the robots weren’t at the little festival. Instead an enormous disco ball and LED dance floor greeted Wee Waaians looking to get their Daft Punk on. So, it’s not exactly the moment when Daft Punk reveals its new stage setup — like the pyramid on the last tour. Watch the dance party below, including one video that shows a flyover of the craziness.
