The Lumineers return to Colorado for a Red Rocks showBy Matt Miller | April 29th, 2013 | No Comments »
For the Denver band’s first show home since performing at the Grammys, the Lumineers returns to Colorado in style with its first headlining show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Playing along with the folk pop group is singer-songwriter, Langhorne Slim and local folk group Paper Bird.
The Lumineers last played a hometown gig in December to round out what was a dream year for the band, thanks to the success of “Ho Hey.” Now, with two Grammy nominations, the Lumineers are spending 2013 on the festival circuit with spots at Coachella, Bonnaroo, Sasquatch, Glastonbury, Lollapalooza and others.
Thankfully, the band is able to cap it all off with a show at Colorado’s most fabled venue on Sept. 14.
Tickets for the Red Rocks show go on sale May 4 at 10 a.m.
