Watch the Yeah Yeah Yeahs on Jimmy KimmelBy Julio Enriquez | April 16th, 2013 | 1 Comment »
For those of you that missed Reverb’s Coachella coverage this past weekend, fret not, because you’ll have another chance to see most of these bands. Colorado being smack dab in the middle of the country tends to be tour destination for bands traveling from California to the East Coast. So many of those Coachella bands you missed will stop here this month (James Blake and Alt-J for example).
As usual the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are doing their own thing, which means no Denver show is scheduled. Instead the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are playing the second Coachella weekend and then starting a European tour in May. So, we’ll take what we can get, which is late night performances. Last night saw the YYYs play their lead single, “Sacrilege,” sans the ginormous choir and their title track “Mosquito” on Jimmy Kimmel. It appears that someone let Karen O go crazy with a bedazzler with her outfit last night in full celebration of the trio’s new album release today of “Mosquito.”
