Phoenix will play the 625-capacity Fox Theatre a week after headlining LollapaloozaBy Matt Miller | April 16th, 2013 | No Comments »
A week after headlining Lollapalooza and a week before heading to the U.K. to headline the Leeds festival, Phoenix is taking a break from its year of festival buzz to play at the 625-person capacity Fox Theatre. Now, this definitely sounds odd, but this show is part of the FMQB Triple A Conference, which each year brings music and radio professionals to Boulder, along with a stacked lineup of live music.
The FMQB Triple A Conference, which takes place from Aug. 7-10 also includes, Neko Case, the Airborne Toxic Event, Ozomatli and more, according to the event’s website. There’s also a keynote speech from Michael McDonald, but not THAT Michael McDonald.
Ticketing information and the conference schedule are yet to be released. In the past, a small percentage of tickets have been allotted for public sale.
Last year Passion Pit, fun. and Alabama Shakes performed at the industry conference.
The full FMQB Triple A Conference lineup:
The Airborne Toxic Event
The Head and the Heart
City and Colour
The Wild Feathers
Little Green Cars
Saints of Valory
Side Stage Performers:
Jamie N Commons
Kopecky Family Band
The Lone Bellow
