Rolling Stones tour includes nine North American citiesBy Matt Miller | April 3rd, 2013 | 3 comments
Really nine dates over one month is pretty impressive when you consider however many hundreds of years the collective ages of the Rolling Stones makes up. The 2013 Rolling Stones tour has been announced, and while — as of now — a majority of cities aren’t going to be satisfied, any band that’s been around long enough for a “50 and Counting” tour deserves a respectful slow-clap.
And even after 50 years (and counting), the Rolling Stones are still cool enough to headline Glastonbury, with hundreds of young, hip bands under their wing. These are some tough old dudes, so here’s to hoping we’ll see at least nine more tour dates this year. But, for now, Colorado, at least we’ve got two full days of Prince.
