Alt-J, Hundred Waters at Webster Hall in New York City, 03-22-13 (photos)By Joe McCabe | March 25th, 2013 | No Comments »
Facing a mountain of hype from the debut album “An Awesome Wave,” English experimental rock band Alt-J performed at New York City’s Webster Hall on Friday. This sold out show was the first of two NYC shows for the Mercury Prize-winning band, performing with openers Hundred Waters. We caught another fantastic set from the band at SXSW — one that even surpassed Alt-J’s recorded material. Alt-J performs in Denver at the Bluebird Theater on April 23 and again in September at the Fillmore Auditorium.
