If you’re not already in Austin, Tex. for SXSW, or not going to SXSW, don’t worry there’s quite a bit in the way of music this week. We’ve got two festivals going on this weekend, young, southern Grammy nominees in town, and one of Denver’s most upcoming bands making a big homecoming at the Ogden Theatre. 4) SnowBall Music Festival, Winter Park, Friday-Sunday, $164-$449
Spending a weekend facing mountain temperatures in early March is a small price to pay to see acts such as Kendrick Lamar, Flying Lotus and Portugal. The Man at SnowBall Music Festival. The third festival starts on Friday in Winter Park for three days of music and more than 50 bands. Tickets are still available and range from $164-$449. Other acts include, Pretty Lights, STS9 and Big Gigantic.
