Peter Frampton, the musician folks love for his popularization of the talk box, and younger people would recognize from his “Simpsons” appearance, and even younger people will recognize from his “Family Guy” appearance is returning to Colorado this summer.

The musician brings nearly 50 years of experience to Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Aug. 20 with another music legend, B.B. King.

Peter Frampton, best known for his 1976 breakthrough record, “Frampton Comes Alive!” last played in Colorado at the Paramount Theater last year.

Tickets for the show go on sale on March 9 at 10 a.m. from ticketmaster.com.
