Watch Churchill play “Change” on “Jimmy Kimmel”By Julio Enriquez | February 27th, 2013 | No Comments »
Denver’s own Churchill has reaped the benefits of Morrissey’s diva moment by taking the network TV world by storm. The one-two punch of vocalists Bethany Kelly and Tim Bruns harmoniously tag-teamed “Change” and “Ark in a Flood” in their late night performance. The punchy mainstay, “Change,” has been making the rounds on the radio and garnering notice from major outlets. This will all make for an exciting hometown welcome at the Ogden Theatre on March 8. Everything is happening so fast, next thing you know the quintet will be opening up for Pink in an arena tour overseas. Watch Churchill make its network TV debut on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” performing “Change” and “Ark in a Flood” below.
But with this latest success, Churchill can thank Morrissey for a little bit of help. Reverb has been following the saga from Morrissey cancelling a string of shows due to illness and rescheduling the same cities with different dates. Morrissey should have performed on “Jimmy Kimmel” last night, but due to the shabby crew from “Duck Dynasty,” Morrissey saw best to cancel altogether. A true artiste on his own terms.
