After months of rumors and “Hardy Boys”-style clues, the Bonnaroo 2013 lineup will be announced today. The announcement comes via a live stream at noon EST, which includes a broadcast of classic festival performances and the revealing of the lineup. The actual announcement comes at 1 p.m. EST and is hosted by “Weird Al” Yankovic. The Manchester, Tenn. festival takes place from June 13-16. Last year’s lineup included Phish, Beastie Boys, Bon Iver and others. Some of the artists rumored to be on the Bonnaroo 2013 lineup include, Paul McCartney, the Who, Mumford & Sons and Wu-Tang Clan.
So the announced lineup so far includes, the xx, Wilco, A$AP Rocky, Pretty lights, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Passion Pit, Of Monsters and Men, Trombone Shorty, St. Vincent, Jim James, Grizzly Bear, Foals, Portugal. The Man, Grizzly Bear, Japandroids, Foals, Wild Nothing, Killer Mike, Amadou & Mariam, Billy Idol, Beach House, Local Natives, Dirty Projectors, the National and R. Kelly.
At 2 p.m. EST “a surprise one-time only classic Bonnaroo full performance will be streamed,” according to the Bonnaroo website.
